Hebrews 10:4-10

Christ put aside all of the glories of Heaven, came down to Earth, and took on the restraints of humanity in order to make a way for sinners to be made holy. He lived a perfect life and was crucified for us to pay our debt. It is by His blood that we are saved and made whole. No other offering could make us clean in the way that Jesus’ death did. It was the sacrifice once and for all and for the whole of creation. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that we as Christians should preach to ourselves daily and the Good News that we must share with the whole world. Christ, with all that He had and all of His love for us, gave His life for ours.

Try your best to memorize verse 10 this week.

Have you ever struggled with feeling like you had to follow all the rules and regulations and got caught up in ”good works’’ religion?

What does the new covenant in Christ say in response to that type of religion?
