Psalm 22: 23-31

This section of Psalm 22 is a reminder that the Lord is in control and constantly working to make His name great. He is letting the poor and the suffering know that He hears their cries. He has promised them that they will “eat and be satisfied” (22:26 NLT). For those who are rich or maybe not suffering right now, He has reminded them of their mortality, but also that they too will feast if they choose to worship Him (22:29 NLT). He promises that the “future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord” (22:30). The eternal feast is waiting for those whose trust is in God. There is no need to worry about the future. Let us focus on the right now and ask how we may live lives of worship in this very moment.

What is something that worries you about the future?

What is something that is evidence of God working in your life right now, and how can that spur you on to worship?
